The Chapter 210 Annual Meeting was held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 28th, at the Old Country Buffett 7540 Dodge Street, in Omaha.  There were 29 in attendance.
 
Chapter President Jim Newland K0EMC, stressed the importance of the monthly luncheons and the weekly QCWA net.
 
The Chapter monthly luncheons will continue at 11:00 AM on the 4th Thursday of each month, at the Old Country Buffett in Omaha.
 
On Tuesday September 2nd, the chapter will resume the 2 meter QCWA net, using the Chapter Club call W0OMA. The time will be 7:00 PM local on the 147.36+ (K0BOY) repeater. We will meet each Tuesday evening for the net. Please make an effort to check in and enjoy the conversation and topics during the net. The Chapter thanks Doug K0BOY for the use of his repeater.

We have $1020.75 in the Chapter Treasury.
 
 If you know other amateurs with 25 or more years of licensing that are interested in QCWA, please have them contact me at w0hxl@cox.net .  Chapter 210 membership is $5.00 to join and there are no yearly dues.  We are the most active Chapter in Nebraska and welcome all qualified amateurs to become members.
 
We will have an election in November of 2008 for the next term of Officers (2009 through 2010). Our current chapter president Jim Newland K0EMC and vice president Rudy Nabel W0SPE are not running for re-election.  I will run again for the office of secretary/treasurer.  If you are interested in running for an office in the November Chapter election, please contact me.
